Ohana Learning Series

The Online Research students begin in class continues at home, with the participation and guidance of parents and siblings. Once registered with the Ohana Learning Series, students will have access to our vast database of family history and genealogy resources. Their online inquiry will go back generations, and help them to share in the activities and accomplishments of their ancestors, and learn what their family members were doing during periods of historical significance.

Students will have an opportunity to create and maintain their family "school" and relate their in-class studies to events that shaped their family, our country and our culture.

EXAMPLE 2:

Students can learn about their family history and share their results with classmates through a creative presentation in a variety of forms.

A sample of student research going back just two generations shows parents and grandparents.
